Lohagad Fort is one of the twin fort that stands side by side. The other fort is Visapur fort. I visited this fort in Feb 2014. Lohagad fort is of easy grade as the condition stairs to the top is good. The vehicle reaches till the base of the fort where the stairs start after walking a bit on flat muddy area. While if you wish to have some adventure Visapur is where you should set your target.

In the quest to explore new location and try something different I took up this event as a challenge which after completing got to say that was challenge worth to be accepted. I know you will be eager to know what the event was; so this tour was 80km cycle marathon. Not exactly a marathon where we had to win by completing the circuit but rather it was more of a team event where all the fellow cycle mates were to drive in co-ordination to reach the
destination and keep on exploring the beauty of nature along the route.
This tour also helped me to test my ability and limits while at the same time I kept pushing my limits to achieve the goal (80km cycle drive and trek to Neelkanteshwar).

Another jewel of the trek on my sleeves. This trek to Rajgad Fort was one with the best experience that I can share with you all. To tell you something about Rajgad Fort. This fort was to be one of the crucial forts that Maratha empire possessed. This fort was from where Shivaji Maharaj used to control his empire. Rajgad Fort had some strategic importance which made it standout from other forts in the region. This fort was never able to won by any other enemy to Maratha empire.
